With temperatures plumeting to minus 25 - 35 celcius over Christmas and well into the New Year (minus 41.7 recorded on the lake), we had to keep the home fires burning at Mosstrond.

A new logo was designed, especially for this new winter season! The logo, sporting a deer - very common in the area - was designed by Sophie Yatman. The motto reads "In harmony with nature" perfectly reflecting the feeling one has upon visiting Mosstrond Turisthytte! We hope to welcome you soon at Mosstrond so you can start reindeer spotting yourself, not just on our logo!

The last 16 beds (traditional Norwegian style) were delivered to the lodge this autumn. Our friend and tour leader, John Kunze came from Denmark to help install the beds. He did a tremendous job and within a couple of days all the beds were in position. All that is needed now is for you to come and try them!!
