With temperatures plumeting to minus 25 - 35 celcius over Christmas and well into the New Year (minus 41.7 recorded on the lake), we had to keep the home fires burning at Mosstrond.

However the days were bright and sunny and with nearly a metre of snow outside the temptation for a ski was often to great but then it was always good to get in to a warm house and a good meal from Maiken and Sue.
