MØSSTROND TURISTHYTTE is a beautiful lakeside lodge ideally suited for people and groups who are interested in outdoor activities and the mountain environment. We have experience in organizing activity packed holidays from youth camps to leading ski-tours, catering for mountaineering and skiing groups from all around Europe.

Apart from activities such as ski touring, winter survival courses, and ice fishing during the winter, mountain tours, rock climbing, fishing and canoeing during the summer are also amongst the possibilities.

The area is rich in wildlife; reindeer, elk, lynx, and wolverine; fish, trout and arctic char; birds, golden eagle, snowy owl, ptarmigan, crane, blue throat and many waders.  Cultural groups can also be catered for; for example those who are interested in music, painting and photography.

Summer

We are open in the summer from the end of June until mid September. Come and enjoy pure nature and go for long walks, boating, fishing, bird-watching and much more. Please go to our activities section to find out more.

Winter

Our winter season starts in December and lasts until May. We offer a wide range of activities for all, from beginners to experts. Due to its central location in the lake there are many possible routes to enjoy the pure nature.
